There used to be a piano. And a couch, with comfy cushions. There used to be a fridge, to chill salads and store food for potlucks. There used to be rows of books, stacks of board games and a Nintendo Wii, for bowling or bocce ball. There were decorations and cheer.

Today, there鈥檚 little left of the lobby at Plaza Towers annex, one of the two apartment buildings for low-income senior citizens in south 优蜜传媒. One resident, Margie Pretari, said it鈥檚 worse than the doctor鈥檚 office.
