National Wear Red Day is a vital reminder to prioritize women's heart health

After she suffered a heart attack in 2019, Felicia Pickett was rushed to a hospital, where doctors used a stent to restore blood flow to her heart.

鈥淎s someone who has had a cardiac event and survived, I鈥檓 wearing red to raise awareness of women鈥檚 heart health and hopefully help other women avoid an emergency,鈥� Pickett said.
